Fred and Sisi had the opportunity to go to Maui with a group of our friends. They obviously had a great time, I mean who couldn't have a good time in Maui. Sisi hadn't been to Maui since she was 1 1/2 so she really had a good time visiting cousins, grandparents, living at the beach for a week, and came back with a nice tan to show for it:)

This was an amazing day, words can't express the feelings felt this day. In December we were able to have Emmie sealed to us as well as Tyler baptized. Our original plan was to have Emmie sealed on a Friday, and Tyler baptized the following day on a Saturday with the the Stake baptism's. Well the week before we found out that because Tyler was 8 years old, he had to be baptized before going into the temple to view the sealing. So Tyler ended up having his own personal program and baptism on a Friday morning, and right after his baptism we went to the Temple to have Emmie sealed to our family. It was such a special experience taking our kids into the temple. We took them to the kid's room, where they stayed 4 of the sweetest old ladies. They let the kids pick out their white cloths, and then played in the play room til we were ready to have them come into the sealing room. We had an all white sealing, so they were able to go through the celestial room to come meet us. Words cannot express what it was like to see all 4 of my kids walk into the sealing room and the look on their faces in amazement as they tried to take it all in. What a great experience that was for all my kids, especially Tyler to be able to be baptized and then enter the Temple all in the same day. I hope that they will always remember that day and the feelings they had. I know that I will always keep that day close to my heart and remember how grateful I am for our heavenly fathers plan for us and our children. I have peace in my heart knowing that Emmie is sealed to us and will forever be a part of our family. I'm also very proud of Tyler and the choice he made to be baptized.

So much to catch up on, so I guess I'll start with Emmie. Wow...this past year has been a crazy one for sure. We have been through so many up's and down's. Adopting a baby has been quit the experience to say the least. We are so grateful for Tieni (Fred's sister) for the decision she made for us to adopt Emmie. I know that since giving birth she has struggled with her decision, but we hope that over time she will find comfort and peace in her life. Emmie is such a huge part of our family and I can't imagine life with out her. She loves her brothers and sisters and they give her attention non stop. I can't believe she is almost 1! I wish I could slow things down a little so she will stay a baby for a little longer. I'm 110% sure that this will be our last baby, which makes me really sad...I think:) Emmie has been such a good baby, she is very easy going. And I wish I could take credit for her being so cute, but Fred says that will have to come from him:) Here are some pictures of Emmie over the last 10 1/2 months. 6 Days Old
