Emmie Maile Taukei'aho
born May 15,2010
6lbs 3oz-18 1/2 long
Man I have a lot to blog about, but I will have to catch it up later. But in the meantime I must blog about our new baby girl.6lbs 3oz-18 1/2 long
Well life's a little crazy, but baby Emmie Maile (pronounced my-lay)is finally here. She was born on May 15th. She weighed 6lbs 3 oz, and was 18/2 inches long (I think the height was a little off cause 2 weeks later she's 20 inches)She is so much smaller than my big babies, she is so tiny! It has been quite the experience, and blessing for our family. She is so beautiful, and has been such a good baby so far. It has been great not having to go through all the pregnancy stuff, and especially not having a c-section, but mentally draining for sure. We love her so much, and can't imagine life without her. For those of you who don't know, we adopted Fred's little sisters baby. She lives in Maui, and came to Utah in April to stay with us so she could have the baby here in Utah. She is an amazing person, and such a great example to all of us. Her delivery was amazing. She went through it all with no epidural, and went very fast for it being her first. We arrived at the hospital in Provo around 11am, and she had her at 2:08pm, even the doctors were surprised. She went through a lot of labor at home, but didn't want to bug any of us, so she let us sleep while she was in pain:( But as soon as we woke up, she told us it was time to go. My house was a mess, and I was feeling a little anxiety about bringing home a new baby with out being fully prepared. With c-sections I know exactly when the baby is coming, and am able to have the house all ready and set to go...not this one. But my wonderful Sister, mom, and dad came to the rescue. They cleaned my house, did my laundry, mowed my lawn, and made sure everything was ready for us to come home(thank you all so much). We will forever be grateful, and in debt to Fred's sister for giving us such a sweet little girl. The kids love her so much, and can't stop fighting over who gets to hold her.
I was so excited to be able to go to the nursery. Having c-sections with all my kids, I don't get to see any of the fun stuff, and usually don't get to see them for an hour or so after there born, so this was so fun.
Elder Taufa (Saula) even made it to the hospital in between his appt's. I love this picture of him looking in at the baby. It was so good to see him, we miss him so much!
Sisi was so excited to be there, and to be able to hold her right after she was born. She is so excited to have a little sister. She says we have way to many boys in our life:)
Grandma Teu, Lala (Fred's niece), and Sisi with baby Emmie. Were so happy they made it from Hawaii before the baby came.
24 hours later, and NO sleep:)

Big sister Sisi
Max really isn't mad in this picture, he's trying to say cheese. All we hear from this kid now is, "I hold a baby" repeated all day long:)
